As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technology solutions that meet business needs by developing applications in mature technology environments. You will work with the latest cloud-enabled technologies to provide solutions for the firm's content management platform. Your role will involve documenting detailed application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules and automated testing. You will ensure compliance with IT Control Policies throughout the design, development, and testing phases, incorporating Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, ensuring all solutions align with predefined architectural specifications, identify and troubleshoot application code-related issues, and provide feedback for final user documentation.

Required qualification, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experienceProficient in coding in ReactJS/Nodejs and related technologiesHands on experience of HTML5 and CSS3Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.Hands on experience of testing frameworks and tools like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languagesSolid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityDemonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
