Robert Half, Inc. seeks Software Engineer III in San Ramon, CA:
Job Duties: Develop software code for end-user applications and design business solutions for materials management, financial management, HRIS, and desktop applications products. Implement SDLC documentation and procedures for all phases of the software development lifecycle. Develop and modify individual modules and components within the larger system architecture utilizing programming and scripting languages. Responsible for several critical integrations that the team built, and provide support on PeopleSoft Financials with PeopleSoft HCM, Workday, Salesforce, and many other applications. Contribute in migrating Peoplesoft based financial applications to next-gen application, per the future roadmap. Interact with users to define system requirements and modifications. Support launched applications in the production environment. Collaborate with IT partners and with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. Support launched applications in the production environment and assist with production support. Code middleware and front-end applications and perform code reviews. Engage in design reviews, analyze, and resolve production issues, and provide feedback for process improvements. Perform unit tests, planning, and execution for software code validation, as well as review unit test plans and results. Analyze and resolve significant production interruptions classified as P1 production issues. Analyze and resolve highly complex production issues defining approach and guidelines as required to resolve the issue. Define the integration test strategy, planning, analyzing, and resolving complex production issues. Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed from anywhere in the U.S.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Special Skill Requirements:
Experience with database concepts, including ability to write complex queries and development in SQL, PeopleSoft, AWS (3 years).Experience in designing and developing Restful Web Services and micro-services in PeopleSoft and AWS (3 years).Experience in ERP/SaaS for Financial modules (AP, AR, GL, Billing, PO), or in-depth knowledge of multiple enterprise applications (3 years).Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC), methodologies, tools and practices, and software development methodologies (such as agile, hybrid, waterfall) (3 years).Experience in creating complex process flow diagrams or flowcharts that demonstrate business or system process flow and design documents (3 years).Experience designing business solutions for new processes and new business practices, and implementing complex enhancements (3 years).Experience in n-tiered architecture and network concepts (2 years).Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed from anywhere in the U.S. Any offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check. Salary: $161,637 - $170,000 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
