Robert Half, Inc. seeks Software Engineer III in San Ramon, CA:

Job Duties: Develop software code for end-user applications and design business solutions for materials management, financial management, HRIS, and desktop applications products. Implement SDLC documentation and procedures for all phases of the software development lifecycle. Develop and modify individual modules and components within the larger system architecture utilizing programming and scripting languages such as People Code and SQL. Interact with users to define system requirements and modifications. Support launched applications in the production environment. Develop complex modules and components of larger system designs. Code middleware and front-end applications and perform code reviews. Engage in design reviews, analyze, and resolve production issues, and provide feedback for process improvements. Perform unit tests, planning, and execution for software code validation, and review unit test plans and results. Utilize approval authority for unit and integration test strategies and plans. Analyze and resolve significant production interruptions classified as SWAT production issues. Analyze and resolve highly complex production issues defining approach and guidelines as required to resolve the issue. Define the integration test strategy, planning, analyzing, and resolving complex production issues. Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed from anywhere in the U.S.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Special Skill Requirements: 

Experience with programming and scripting languages such as C, C++, People code, or SQL (2 years).Experience with programs for a mid to large size application in PeopleSoft, including administer/configure in PeopleSoft (2 years).Experience with full cycle software development methodologies, tools and practices (2 years).Experience with N-tiered architecture, DB concepts, network concepts, XML interfaces and web services (2 years).Experience with performing fit/gap analysis based on requirements (2 years).Experience with the STAT migration tool for people code migrations (2 years).Experience using the AUTOSYS scheduling tool (2 years).

Salary: $161,637 - $170,000 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
