Position Summary

Responsible for hands on development, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Global Financial Crimes environment. Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs/activities. Work closely with business partners in defining requirements and ensuring acceptance criteria is met for application changes. In-depth knowledge of development tools and languages is a must. Individual contributor role. Ability to partner with the multiple Technology teams to implement the target architecture and migration to strategic platform

This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.

Responsibilities:

Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirementsDesigns, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintainedMentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stackExecutes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecyclePerforms spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideasAutomates manual release activitiesDesigns, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science ,Math or job related field required4 years of full stack experience in Java end to end application development required .Angular Experience required.Strong core java skills including multi-threading, collections API, JDBC and knowledge of Java profiling toolsKnowledge of performance tuning data intensive applicationsStrong coding, debugging, and analytical skillsCreative individual with a track record of working on and implementing innovative tech based solutionsExceptional intelligence and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skillsSoftware development using agile methodology and processes

Desired Qualifications

Background in enterprise stress testingKnowledge and/or experience working within the Elastic, Hadoop, Teradata or other big data distributed ecosystemKnowledge of cloud computing or distributed computing
