Enterprise Data Accessibility team is responsible for MasterCard’s data and insights related product development efforts to curate the large amounts of data, trains the models using machine learning and serve the insights to customers. The challenge will be to create high-performance workflows that allow our users to derive insights from big data that in turn drive their businesses. You will have the opportunity to create high-performance analytic solutions based on data sets measured in the billions of transactions and front-end visualizations to unleash the value of big data.

Role:
•\tHands-on developer who writes high quality, secure code that is modular, functional, and testable.
•\tPerforms day to day system development and maintenance activities of the team to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and create solutions with high level of innovation, cost effectiveness, high quality, and faster time to market.
•\tCreate or introduce, test, and deploy new technology to optimize the service.
•\tHave strong ownership of own and team’s task.
•\tInvestigate and troubleshoot customer reported issues and propose solutions which meet customer requirements along with architectural and business requirements.
•\tCommunicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a global environment.

About You:
•\tAdvanced technical skills and experience of Java/JEE with Spring Framework (including Spring Boot), with successfully track record of designing, building, and supporting complex, large scale, and business critical software applications.
•\tProficiency in implementing REST services.
•\tSolid foundation in algorithms, data structures and core computer science concepts.
•\tStrong analytical and excellent problem-solving skills.
•\tExperience designing scalable fault tolerant platforms that are resilient to infrastructure failures
•\tExperience with TDD and BDD in the software development processes
•\tExperience with micro-service design, CI/CD, DevOps
•\tExperience with event based framework such as using Apache Kafka
•\tExperience on python language is a plus
•\tExperience working with cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, serverless technology, NoSQL databases) is plus.
•\tExperience working in an Agile environment.
•\tStrong written and verbal English communications skills.
•\tSelf-motivated with the ability to multi-task with minimal direction.
•\tWillingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities and to work with geographically distributed teams
•\tDegree in Computer Science or related Engineering field
•\tExperience of team’s technical lead a plus
•\tInfrastructure and operations experience a plus
