Job SummaryThe Software Engineer II is responsible for code reviews, promotion through CI/CD pipelines and maintaining security standards within WFS cloud-based environments.
CompensationThis is a full-time, exempt remote position.
The expected base salary range for this role is $79,000 to $99,000 per year.
Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as the relevant experience, skills, education, and internal equity.

Build and deploy applications to Windows Servers on Public Cloud Instances using Azure pipelines Perform thorough debugging and troubleshooting of production and development issues. Write and maintain automated test suites and ensure code quality through rigorous QA processes. Collaborate with product managers, engineers and architects in an Agile environment to define and deliver features. Develop and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models in support of enterprise applications. Create and maintain documentation for applications, including workflows, troubleshooting guides, and support procedures. Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take ownership of deliverables with clear communication and a proactive mindset. Validate secure development practices, including proper input handling, authentication, and data protection, to ensure application security. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field required. Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience with C# and .NET technologies Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools (Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code). Familiarity with GitHub for version control, including branching strategies and pull request workflows. Experience with GitHub Advanced Security, including code scanning, secret scanning, dependency vulnerability alerts, and integrating security checks into workflows using GitHub Actions Solid understanding of debugging tools, unit testing, and integration testing frameworks. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of SDLC principles and software design patterns. Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js. Exposure to containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes. Preferred Skills Knowledge of SQL performance tuning and advanced database administration is a plus. Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, Database Fundamentals) are desirable. Familiarity with message queues or event-driven architectures, such as Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or Kafka. Experience working in multi-team environments, particularly across time zones or international settings. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
