Senior software developer is responsible for designing, testing, and implementing new and updated software modules and \"core system\" libraries that run on proprietary embedded platforms. 

\n

This role will be onsite, at the Florence, Italy, office. 

\n

What you will do

\n

·        Produce high quality and high performances software

\n

·        Guarantees on time software delivery

\n

·        Produces technical documentations

\n

·        Participate in an Agile/Scrum team and provide analysis

\n

·        Participate in process improvement activities towards releasing the highest quality, world class software on time

Required skills

\n

·        Proven experience in developing complex embedded software systems

\n

·        Strong knowledge of C and C++ languages (modern C++ syntax and programming techniques)

\n

·        Strong Knowledge of Linux OS

\n

·        Good knowledge of Yocto

\n

·        Knowledge of embedded microprocessor platforms and architectures

\n

·        Good knowledge of common communication devices like Ethernet, RS232, USB, etc.

\n

·        Seniority in software design: knowledge of design patterns, OOD and OOP

\n

·        Knowledge of software unit test methodologies

\n

·        Experience in software application optimizing and tuning

\n

·        Troubleshooting ability

\n

·        Good spoken and written English

\n

·        Excellent human interface and attitude to team working using Agile frameworks (Scrum, etc.), willing to collaborate with other teams

\n

·        Good knowledge of version control systems (Subversion, Git, etc.)

\n

·        Knowledge of build automation and test coverage suites (CMAKE, GTEST)

\n

·        Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science

\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

·        Knowledge of Linux user/kernel mode programming, IOCTL and IPC

\n

·        Knowledge of common C++ libraries: STL, QT, Boost, etc.

\n

·        Knowledge of OpenSSL libraries and of cryptographic algorithms and techniques.

\n

·        Knowledge of multi thread/core embedded programming.

\n

·        Knowledge of Javascript and NodeJS

\n

·        Knowledge of cross compilation and remote debugging.

\n

·        Knowledge of unix shell scripting languages is a plus

\n

·        Knowledge in UML modelling for software design.

\n

·        Knowledge of Security for complex applications and systems
