We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our team responsible for developing and maintaining AI infrastructure across Cadence's portfolio of design tools. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of computational software and artificial intelligence, helping to shape the future of Cadence's innovative solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development of AI infrastructure that supports, for example, inference, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and model quantizationAssist in development of deliver software systems and libraries to deliver AI-driven functionality across the whole Cadence organizationAssist in developing systems to implement AI functionality across the whole Cadence organizationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement AI features that enhance Cadence's solutionsParticipate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality, reliable softwareStay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in AI and machine learningDocument technical processes and developments for knowledge sharing across teamsJob Qualifications:
Good degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical fieldStrong programming skills in C, C++, PythonKnowledge of AI/ML concepts and frameworksWillingness to learn multiple programming languages Understanding of software development principles and practicesProblem-solving skills and analytical thinkingExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesAdditional Skills/Preferences:
