As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Bank - AIML Data Platforms, you will play a crucial role in an agile team focused on enhancing, designing, and delivering software components for our advanced technology products, ensuring they are secure, stable, and scalable. You will be a key contributor to the software engineering team, involved in executing software solutions through design, development, and technical troubleshooting of various components within a technical product, application, or system. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experienceHands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityExperience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languagesDemonstrable ability to code in one or more languagesExperience across the whole Software Development Life CycleExposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityEmerging knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Proficiency in container and cloud technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.Hands-on experience in building ETL/Data Pipelines and data lake platforms, such as AWS Redshift, Glue, and Spark/Hadoop.Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow and AWS Step Functions, as well as integration technologies like GraphQL and REST.Experience in building and deploying Machine Learning models, with practical knowledge of the ML Lifecycle. Expertise in MLOps and AIOps is a significant advantage
