Overview
The MTF team is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test II to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an quality driven mindset.

Role

In this position , You will:
•\tPrimarily work as a manual functional tester while proactively identifying opportunities for automation and contributing to their implementation.
•\tTranslates complex system requirements and specs into test requirements and testing methods.
•\tParticipates in requirements review and testing activities; monitors resolutions and retains documentation
•\tFollow the QA standards, processes, tools and methodologies; partners with other functions to gather the testing requirements
•\tBe a vital part of scrum team and participate in requirements review/story elaborations and testing activities to deliver high quality products
•\tTranslate high-level business requirements into test scenarios to cover the Integration flows and customer journeys
•\tWork with software developers and domain experts in designing, performing, and improving verification tests
•\tIdentify automation need and develop test scripts
•\tWork collaboratively and effectively in a very fast paced environment.
•\tIdentify early defects to improve quality of the products
•\tFollow the SDLC and STLC process with quality management and Agile tools like ALM
•\tProactively monitor customer insights and production issues to seek quality feedback and improve processes to enhance quality of the product/capability.
•\tPlay a crucial part in helping drive Quality to help build and ship better products.

All About You

•\tWorking knowledge on Card Payment systems. [Must]
•\tWorking knowledge of payment simulation tools such as T3/similar or and ISO payment protocols (8583) & (20022) (must) [Must]
•\tUnderstanding on Unix Commands, SQL
•\tExperience on Tandem HP non stop, Mainframe will be added advantage
•\tUnderstanding of any programming language. [Must]
•\tKnowledge of software testing life cycle [Test planning, Test design and execution, Defect Management, Test Reporting] [Must]
•\tHands on experience on Functional, Regression, System, UAT Testing[Must]
•\tAny experience with TDD and/or BDD will be an added advantage
•\tExperience in automation testing using any of the tool like JBehave, TestNG, SOAP UI, Appium, Selenium, mobile automation tools will be added advantage.
•\tExcellent defect finding, debugging, root cause analysis capabilities
•\tExcellent communication skill
•\tExperience of testing solutions for large scale deployments including large enterprises or service providers, banking or payment solutions.
•\tExperience of working in payments application Domain.
•\tHands on experience of working with tools like Confluence, JIRA, and Rally.
•\tGood at test strategy analysis systematically and delivery focused
•\tStrong organizational and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail, critical thinking, solid communication skills.
•\tAbility to be flexible, accountable, reliable and industrious.
•\tAbility to manage multiple priority efforts in parallel and ensure Quality Assurance standards are followed.
•\tHigh-energy, detail-oriented and proactive with the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment
•\tStrong oral and written communication skills
•\tBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
