Job Title: Software Engineer II
Atlanta, GA

Overview:

Join our dynamic team of engineers as a Software Engineer II, where your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain scalable and resilient enterprise software solutions. As a key contributor to our team, you will leverage your expertise to solve complex technical challenges and help shape the technical roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop high-quality software solutions that meet specifications, encourage reusability, and facilitate easy support and maintenance.Diagnose and resolve system issues resulting from software code errors.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance engineering practices.Utilize software maintenance and tracking tools effectively.Contribute technical content for documentation, user guides, and training materials.Conduct unit tests, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary changes to meet test plans and requirements.Design and implement strategies to enhance code stability, performance, and reusability.Lead and participate in code review sessions to ensure best practices.Provide accurate estimates of work efforts and aid others in task estimation and dependency identification.Guide and mentor other engineers during project activities, as needed.Serve as a subject matter expert in specific technical areas.Stay updated with industry trends and technology advancements, sharing insights and best practices within the team.Collaborate across cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with Solution Management and other internal departments.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.3+ years of experience in software design and development.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, learning-focused mindset.At least 3 years of experience working with the following technologies:Net (version 4.5 or higher)SQL Server (version 2016 or higher) with excellent querying and debugging skillsSQL PaaSAzure tools (Databases, Instances, Storage)C# (with hands-on experience in vb.net)jQuery and UI developmentWeb services (asmx and wcf)Automation tools (Unit tests, BDD)

Experience with two or more of the following:

Docker and KubernetesAzure / GCPCucumberSelenium / UI automationJMeterTerraformHelmAnsibleARM templates

Preferred Skills:

Strong understanding of software development and quality assurance best practices.Excellent troubleshooting techniques.Ability to parse customer needs into business and technical requirements and document them effectively using Word or UML diagrams.Proficiency in implementing design patterns for scalable and reusable software products.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Exceptional teamwork and collaborative skills.
