Software Engineer II, Frontend
## **About the role:** Collaborates with team members to design, develop, and maintain user interfaces and features for web applications that meet the design, functionality, and complexity needs of end users. ## **About the Team:** - **Core Services:** This team builds the foundational infrastructure and platforms that power all of Uber’s products. As a member, you'll develop scalable, reliable, and reusable services that are critical to Uber’s global operations. Your work here will directly influence the performance and stability of our systems, ensuring that millions of transactions and data flows run smoothly every day. - **Delivery:** The Delivery team is focused on innovating and streamlining how products and services reach our customers. In this role, you'll contribute to building efficient and robust systems that support order processing, logistics, and real-time tracking. Your contributions will help optimize the end-to-end delivery experience, making it more reliable and seamless for both drivers and customers. ## **Minimum qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field **OR** 4+ year full-time Software Engineering work experience, **WHICH INCLUDES** 4+ year total technical software engineering experience in one or more of the following areas: - Programming language (e.g. React, JavaScript, CSS) - _Note the 7-year total of specialized software engineering experience may have been gained through education and full-time work experience, additional training, coursework, research, or similar (OR some combination of these).  The year of specialized experience is not necessarily in addition to the years of Education & full-time work experience indicated._ ## **Technical skills:** Required: - API design - Modern javascript Preferred: - Modern js framework - UX - Static typing systems **_Please note: this hybrid position is based in São Paulo, Brazil - welcoming both local professionals and those open to relocating to São Paulo._** Uber's mission is to reimagine the way the world moves for the better.
