Job Summary

Designs, develops, documents, and maintains software to support development or ZOLL products.

Essential Functions

Develops, documents, and maintains high quality software designs, source code, and unit tests for product software or supporting software such as tools (e.g., parsers, simulators)Performs software integration activities for integrating software to software or hardware subsystemsDevelops, documents, and executes software unit verification proceduresParticipates in and supports the development of, and sometimes executes portions of, software verification protocolsReports own progress towards performance and schedule objectives.Stays current with software engineering trends and technologies through activities such as self- study, webinars, seminars, user group meetings and conferencesFollows standard operating procedures and software engineering best practicesCollaborates with team members and contributes to positive team environment that creates high quality solutions

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

BS degree required orEquivalent in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering or related engineering or science discipline required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge and Experience with one or more programming languages such as C, C++, C#, PythonGood written and verbal communication skillsPositive attitude and affinity for teamwork, logic, innovation, initiative and self sufficiencyEffective problem-solving skills
