Key Responsibilities

\n

·         Design, develop and implement software solutions to meet business needs on our Automated Tank Gauge and related platforms.

\n

·         Apply your knowledge of modern technology stacks and frameworks, such as C++, Java, Python, and others, and help the team to adopt these technologies.

\n

·         Contribute to developing best practices and standards for using various programming languages across our products.

\n

·         Utilize Agile methodologies to enhance team collaboration and project delivery.

\n

·         Work closely with peers, electrical, and mechanical development teams, quality assurance, and other stakeholders to create impactful solutions.

\n

·         Learn from senior engineers and gradually mentor peers on design and coding practices, while gaining exposure to modern technologies.

Background and Skill

\n

·         Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or electrical engineering (or related).

\n

·         Familiarity with at least one software development life cycle approach, such as Waterfall, Agile, or Kanban.

\n

·         Proficiency in one or more programming languages:  C, C++, Java, NodeJS, JavaScript, or Python.

\n

·         Experience with continuous integration and automated testing technologies is advantageous.

\n

·         Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON is beneficial.

\n

·         Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure and their associated services is a plus.

\n

·         Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

\n

·         Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

\n

·         Ability to learn and adapt to modern technologies quickly.

\n

·         Basic understanding of version control systems such as Git.

\n

·         Enthusiasm for software development and a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
