We are Cisco’s CRM Engineering & Transformation Office, a team of technical specialists and innovative engineers who support the Sales, Marketing, and Support functions across Cisco. As a Go to Market Engineer in Cisco’s CRM Engineering and Transformation Office (CETO), you will focus on delivering outstanding experiences for our Go-To-Market Stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support. Teaming up with other forward-thinking engineers, designers, and delighted users, you will focus on improving the go to market experience for sales, marketing, and support users and the customers they interact with. Your penchant for approaching problems with creative solutions, a passion for engineering, and ambition to be part of an inspiring team are the tools you’ll need to be a CETO Engineer. **Your Impact** As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will be part of our Salesforce implementations while contributing to the DevOps team culture, the platform, and the process to support our Cisco sales, marketing, and customer success teams. To be successful in this role, you’d be a role model who exemplifies our culture and embraces our product principles. You will work with: + Business analysts to define and understand requirements + Product DevOps teams to align deployments + Product Managers that will help you know our customers and partners so you can deliver solutions that meet their needs and wants + Technical Architects who will help you craft, develop, and operate with the standard methodologies, patterns the industry has to offer Key Responsibilities: + Builds key project documentation, including functional and technical design specifications + Craft scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements, considering factors such as performance, security, and maintainability. + Design and implement data models, import/export data, and ensure data integrity within Salesforce. + Integrate Salesforce with other systems using APIs, middleware, or tools like MuleSoft. + Investigate and resolve technical issues reported by users, providing timely support and solutions. + Collaborate with multi-functional teams including business partners, architects, administrators, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions. + Implement standard processes for API development, testing, and deployment + Deploy code through basic CI/CD Pipelines using tools like Copado + Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality code, performance optimization, and alignment to coding standards, providing constructive feedback to team members. + Know the latest with Salesforce releases, features, and standard processes, and recommend improvements or new solutions based on emerging technologies. **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent 5+ years of related software development experience or Masters or equivalent experience in Computer Science or equivalent 3+ years of related software development experience + 7+ years of Salesforce developer, with a solid understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, and standard methodologies + 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce developer, with a proven track record of successfully delivering sophisticated Salesforce Sales cloud projects. + 4+ years of Experience integrating Salesforce with other systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, or middleware like MuleSoft. + 4+ years in advanced Salesforce development concepts such as asynchronous processing, batch processing, platform events, and integration patterns **Preferred Qualifications** + Demonstrable ability to work multi-functionally in a team environment, encouraging a culture of innovation, collaboration, and shared findings. + Good communication skills to interact with business partners, capture requirements, and explain technical solutions in a clear and concise manner. + Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA for managing project tasks and sprints. + Knowledge of Salesforce Einstein AI capabilities and implementation patterns. + Required Salesforce Developer, Advanced Developer certifications. Non-Exempt new hires accrue up to 16 days of vacation time off each year, at a rate of 4.92 hours per pay period. Exempt new hires participate in Cisco’s flexible Vacation Time Off policy, which does not place a defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use, but is subject to availability and some business limitations. All new hires are eligible for Sick Time Off subject to Cisco’s Sick Time Off Policy and will have eighty (80) hours of sick time off provided on their hire date and on January 1st of each year thereafter. Up to 80 hours of unused sick time will be carried forward from one calendar year to the next such that the maximum number of sick time hours an employee may have available is 160 hours. Employees in Illinois have a unique time off program designed specifically with local requirements in mind. All employees also have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows: .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota; 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%; 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
