About the Role:

As a Software Engineer in our Getting Data In (GDI) team, you will be at the forefront of developing the Falcon LogScale Collector - a crucial component that handles large-scale data ingestion for our industry-leading security and observability platform.

You will join a close-knit, multi-disciplinary team working on a product that thousands of organizations trust to secure their infrastructure. Our collector runs seamlessly across Windows, Linux, and macOS, interfacing with diverse data sources and log formats.

This position is based in our Aarhus, Denmark office. Applicants must be able to commute to the Aarhus Office at least 3 times a week.

What You'll Do:

Development of our high-performance collector client in Go.

Contributing to our backend platform in Scala.

End-to-end product ownership from conception to deployment.

Design and implementation of distributed systems handling massive data volumes.

Work in a team of friendly, trustworthy and knowledgeable colleagues.

Performance optimization and reliability improvements.

Cross-platform development and testing.

What You'll Need:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or equivalent experience.

2+ years of professional software development experience.

Strong programming skills, with experience in Go, Scala, or similar languages.

Experience with modern CI/CD practices and tools.

System-level programming knowledge.

Excellence in problem-solving and communication.

Strong ownership mindset and team-first attitude.

Strong communication skills.

Ability and appetite to contribute to a strong team culture, built on strong relationships with colleagues, in an environment of collaboration and knowledge-sharing.

Bonus Points:

Experience with distributed systems and high-scale architectures.

Deep knowledge of operating systems (Linux, macOS, Windows).

Network programming expertise (TCP/IP, TLS, UDP).

Background in observability or cybersecurity.

Interest in AI and machine learning applications.
