Job Description: 

Position Summary:

Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements operating systems components, software tools, and utilities.Determines systems software design requirements. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency.Generates systems software engineering policies, standards and procedures.

May need to consult with Senior/Specialist staff members on some technical issues.A four year college degree (or additional experience in a related field) and have at least 3-5 yrs experience in Software Development in Mainframe Technology.Associate to have experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS, CICS. Should have worked in all phases of application development from requirement analysis to Deployment. Experience in production support will be an added advantage. Should have good written and verbal communication skills - will be required to interact with business team and other interfacing application teams for the work assigned.
