In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our software capabilities.Together with other C++ Software Engineers you will design, develop new, optimize and maintain existing features for ZEISS Inspect using the C++ and Qt framework.Here’s what you can expect:Be part of our Agile teams located in Poland and GermanyImplement innovative functionalities to advance our software in optical and tactile measuring technologies Involve in different aspects of software development including researching current solutions, developing concepts, designing, implementing final solution and sharing the knowledge with team members​Collaborate with a multi-national agile teams of software and hardware experts including UX designers, architects, QA engineers, application engineers

What we expect from you:A completed degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related field,A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software development with modern C++Knowledge of other programming languages such as C# or PythonSolid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patternsSolid understanding of software development principles, Clean Code guidelines and best practicesExperience in desktop application developmentExperience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket or similar platformsStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and keeping the goal of a user-friendly software solution in mindVery good proficiency in English language, both spoken and written
