You'll have... 

A bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience working in information technology or computer science fields.   Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:  • developing using Agile and Scrum; and  • building, configuring, maintaining, and decommissioning the infrastructure (On-premise or Cloud).   Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:  • building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments using Jenkins, Tekton, or any native cloud-based tool;  • guiding and mentoring teams to build production ready applications with dev security operations scans (SonarQube, FOSSA, Cycode and Checkmarx); • architecting full stack web applications with microservices and front-end user-interface services;  • building, testing, and maintaining software applications using Java or any major programming language;  • designing, building, maintaining, and using database systems (MySQL, MSSQL, or POSTGRES); • building REST style microservices using spring boot or any advanced frameworks;  • configuring, deploying, and optimizing observability and monitoring tools (Dynatrace or Splunk);  • developing using test driven development (TDD) methodology;  • designing and deploying the applications using on-prem or cloud; and  • building User Interfaces using Java script-based framework and libraries (Angular, React, or Vue).

We are offering a salary of $132,350.00 - $187,680.12/yr.

What you’ll be able to do: 

Software Engineer Anchor - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). Position reports to Dearborn, MI office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office. Act as technical Subject Matter Expert on product functionalities, integrations, and anticipated roadmaps for the Strategy and Enterprise Analytics team. Design solutions with architecture, organize learning events for team, and strictly adopt technology with standard application stack for development. Leverage development security operations to write production ready software. Take responsibility for infrastructure required for the applications to work. Enforce software craftmanship standards across teams.
