Software Engineer
If you are searching for a role where you can grow your skills in the software development field, Emerson has an exciting position for you!  Based in our Shakopee or Eden Prairie, Minnesota location, as a Software Engineer you will design and implement software to verify and validate world-class safety-critical industrial automation equipment.   In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Work with a team to design and implement automated tests and test infrastructure. Participate in reviews of product requirements, test designs, and implementations. Work with multi-functional teams to help solve engineering challenges. Provide analysis for change requests, considering the impact to product testing and schedule. Collaborate with firmware developers. Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science Zero (0) years of applicable experience  Legal authorization to work in the United States 
  Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: An ABET-accredited engineering degree Experience with object-oriented programming Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Interest and experience with embedded firmware systems

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The starting salary for this role is $76,000-$80,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role.
