Job Description A large imaging company headquartered in Irvine, CA is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team. This individual will be responsible for original application development around data-driven solutions. In this position, the ideal candidate will engage in software development activities utilizing different technologies and focusing in the backend and data engineering aspects on one of our enterprise related data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on exposure to developing software applications at various points along the stack, specifically integrating with backend services and databases while working with large datasets. Skills and Requirements 4-5 years' experience as a Software Engineer Bachelor's (or above) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or a related field required Fluent in Python, 2-3 years' experience minimum Proficient with SQL, specifically stored procedures Hands-on experience performing ETL and/or ELT Some experience with Spark and/or Hadoop Possess a strong willingness to come up to speed on new technologies The ability to work in a highly collaborative, fast moving, multi-cultural environment Experience with Scala Experience with mySQL AWS environment experience Experience using Amazon EMR and RDS Knowledge of data analytics and/or Machine Learning null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
