Responsibilities:
Collaborative partner: Work closely with product owners, and fellow engineers to address technical challenges and maintain high-quality standards within the Liberty Mutual customer experiences.Comprehensive problem-solver: Own the end-to-end development lifecycle of customer onboarding experience, analyzing system-level issues and implementing effective solutions to ensure reliability and performance.Skilled technical engineer: Lead and document the implementation of technical features, improvements, and innovations that advances the Liberty Mutual customer experience.Forward thinker: Go beyond fixing issues by proactively identifying opportunities to enhance performance, quality, and efficiency across the customer experience platforms. QualificationsQualifications:
3+ years of software engineering experience, including Agile methodologies and technologies such as JavaScript, NodeJS, Angular, React, NextJS, Typescript, HTML, CSS , GraphQL, GitHub/Github Actions.Strong understanding of cloud technologies (AWS) and architectural patterns (serverless, microservices, event-driven).Solid programming discipline covering unit testing, fault tolerance, data structures, complexity analysis, and design patterns.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.Experience leveraging generative AI (genAI) in software engineering is a plus.Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.Proficient in negotiation, facilitation, and consensus-building.Adaptability and openness to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.In-depth knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, methodologies, technical standards, and security/privacy policies.Thorough understanding of Agile development processes, including backlog management, burndown metrics, and incremental delivery.Strong collaboration skills, a team-first mindset, prioritization abilities, and adaptability.Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience.Highly competitive applicants will have:

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
