OverviewJoin our team to develop and enhance Windows-based tools for configuring embedded devices. You'll build desktop applications that support firmware updates, feature programming, and USB/wireless communication. Ideal candidates have experience in land mobile radio (LMR), public safety, or military communications.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Windows-based applications for device configuration.Implement new features to support evolving hardware protocols and capabilities.Interface with embedded systems over USB and wireless connections.Collaborate closely with firmware and hardware teams to ensure seamless integration.Build tools for firmware upgrades, configuration workflows, and diagnostics.Develop mechanisms for application deployment, updates, and version control.Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the software-hardware interface.Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, code reviews, and testing.QualificationsRequired:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.Proficient in Linux, C/C++, and communication protocols.Experience with USB, serial, and network interfaces.Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.Familiar with Git and customer-facing collaboration.Preferred:
LMR software and encryption experience.Knowledge of wireless stacks and firmware workflows.Mobile app development (Android/iOS).Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps.Understanding of P25 standards and public safety systems.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $67.00/hr.
