UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside in Pittsburgh, PA seeks multiple Software Engineers to develop and maintain UPMC Health Plan’s healthcare benefits administration applications including but not limited to MC400, PEGA, BenMo, COB, Cotiviti, and Cavulus. Ensure high quality data during transfers facilitated by MC400, PEGA, BenMo, COB, Cotiviti, and Cavulus, including for data between client health plans, provider contracts, claims processing, coordination of benefits, premium billing, data warehouse, reports, analytics, communications, clinical case management, and various end users. Improve and optimize MC400’s ability to gather and accommodate an influx and distribution of real time data. Recommend the development of new code to accommodate business changes to ensure high-quality performance of applications – MC400, PEGA, BenMo, COB, Cotiviti, and Cavulus. Collaborate with cross-functional teams during the overall integration of technical activities in architecture surrounding MC400 and other applications as mentioned above. Review project designs and recommend changes as necessary. Add new interfaces and user-level features to resolve end-user issues. Identify process improvements to increase the product and service quality of UPMC Health Plan. Enhance and modify the MC400, PEGA, BenMo, COB, Cotiviti, and Cavulus so that these applications continue to meet the technology requirements of current users. Perform troubleshooting and debugging to identify any system issues.
