Join us as we push boundaries, take risks, and implement AI to drive business excellence — and help Microsoft chart its next chapter. **Responsibilities** As a **Software Engineer** at Microsoft, you’ll be part of a team of world-class engineers leveraging cutting-edge Microsoft Cloud and AI technologies to deliver modern, scalable, and intelligent systems that drive the Microsoft business forward.  This is a unique opportunity to kickstart and grow your career with deep hands-on exposure to Microsoft technologies, while developing your cybersecurity, AI, and software engineering skills in an inclusive, growth-oriented environment.    **Responsibilities ** + Support the Finance cybersecurity and Responsible AI Leads with driving rapid security mitigations, spanning over 650 Azure services and 500+ stakeholders. + Support high-visibility initiatives related to cybersecurity across the Finance division. + Integrate AI capabilities such as Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, and ML models to enhance system intelligence and user productivity.  + Apply engineering best practices as you design and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. + Collaborate cross-functionally across stakeholders, product managers, and other engineers to deliver integrated, customer-focused experiences.  + Contribute to the evolution of Microsoft’s data platforms through technical feedback and innovation.  + Champion a culture of diversity, inclusion, customer obsession, and continuous learning.  **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications: ** + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. + OR equivalent experience + Business fluency in English (read, write, speak).  **Preferred Qualifications: ** + Knowledge of security and data governance technologies and methods applicable to cloud platforms. + Exposure to Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms (GCP, AWS).  + Familiarity with AI/ML fundamentals, tools (like Azure ML, OpenAI), or data analytics workflows.  + Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and DevOps practices.  + Curiosity, collaboration mindset, and a passion for solving real-world customer problems.  Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
