The Azure Networking team builds the software systems that power Microsoft’s global cloud infrastructure. We are looking for a Software Engineer to help build and scale the telemetry backbone that enables Microsoft to observe, understand, and optimize its network. You’ll work on services that gather and process massive volumes of telemetry from network devices—handling diverse data sources and communication patterns, all unified by one challenge: scale.

You’ll contribute to the design and development of systems that collect and analyze data from millions of devices, enabling real-time insights and automation. You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers and partner teams to define telemetry requirements, improve system reliability, and support Microsoft’s cloud and AI infrastructure. This is a high-impact role where your work will directly support the performance and reliability of services used by millions around the world.
