Software Engineer

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our data conversion team. In this role, you will participate in key projects to onboard clients within the Canadian financial and wealth management industry. You will collaborate with conversion leads, senior developers, and clients to deliver robust, maintainable data migration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Participate as a developer on data conversion and onboarding projects for new clients.Work closely with the conversion lead, client stakeholders, and senior developers to gather, understand, and refine requirements.Contribute ideas and collaborate on the design of solutions that fit each client’s unique data needs.Implement and support data migration and conversion solutions using PL/SQL.Document technical processes and adhere to industry best practices and internal guidelines.Identify and help resolve technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years in a software development role, with hands-on experience in database-driven projects.Familiarity with the Canadian financial and wealth management industry.Strong understanding and experience with Oracle relational databases and advanced PL/SQL development.Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Experience with data migration or conversion projects is an asset.
