In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Accurately identify customer needs and provide estimates for integrated system solutions  Interact with customers, NI staff, external partners, and external suppliers in support of designing, implementing, and sustaining custom solutions  High-level collaborative design of integrated solutions  Ensure that alignment to custom solution development processes, new product introduction processes, and standard methodologies  Review work quality and provide feedback to other engineers  Design and develop software libraries and APIs to be used by multiple projects  Work with Senior Engineers to find optimal technical solutions to project challenges  Responsible for software engineering work you're doing (documentation, code reviews, etc.) and development tasks

For this Role, You will Need:

Minimum BS degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) field  Minimum 1 years of experience in software development, and system integration and/or test and measurements industry  Willing and able to travel up to 50 % of the time English level – B1 

 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

BS or equivalent experience in or higher in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering  Understanding of electrical engineering, electronics & computer architecture Demonstrated success and experience using high-level programming languages (C#, C/C++)  Proven expertise in processes ensure quality and predictability for software development.  Ability to identify and solve system engineering problems.  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment.     Demonstrated ability to:  Work effectively with teams  Problem-solving effectively - diagnose technical issues and propose effective solutions  Take initiative, be a self-starter, and work independently Persistently drive tasks and lead projects to successful completion  Quickly learn applicable technology, systems, and products
