Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.

Minimum Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Job Overview

We are looking for software engineers for the Qualcomm Software Analysis and Global Automation department. The main scope of work includes but is not limited to:

Design and develop scalable services deployed on cloud platforms such as AWS ensuring high availability, performance, and security.Collaborate with global teams to complete system design, development, testing, and maintenance, ensuring system stability and scalability.Write high-quality, maintainable code, following code standards and development processes.Participate in system architecture design and technology selection, promoting continuous technological evolution.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, and 2+ years of software engineering or related work experience; or master’s degree and 1+ years of relevant experience.Experience in cloud-native project development with AWS, Azure, or Alibaba Cloud.1+ year of development experience with C#, Java, C/C++, or Python.Familiar with common middleware technologies such as PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, etc.Familiar with Linux systems, and able to write Python scripts for automated task processing.Good communication skills and team spirit, able to adapt to cross-time zone collaboration environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in large-scale distributed systems or cross-team collaboration projectsExperience with API documentation management using Swagger/OpenAPIFamiliar with mainstream AI tools and platforms such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.Understanding of observability concepts and familiarity with related tools/platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Splunk, etc.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
