The selected Software Engineer will be involved in all phases of the software engineering process including, but not limited to:
Capability/Requirements definition through direct customer interaction
Design, Development, & Test of a suite of custom UI tools
Demonstration of applications utilized for long-range program planning
In addition to working development activities, the Software Engineer will also be required to:
Support the program planning team in troubleshoot issues
Debug Software
Employ continuous improvement methodology
Basic Qualifications:
• A minimum education level of Bachelor’s degree, in a related discipline from an accredited college, such as: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related professional experience
• Professional Software Engineering experience in the applications development with C#, and/or Java
Us Citizenship is required for this role. No security clearance is needed to start the role but must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with C# desktop application developments utilizing the DevExpress framework
• Experience with developing and supporting automated ETL process
• Experience with JIRA, Subversion and Confluence
• Experience with Agile methodologies, processes, and practices
• Experience with applying software AI tools for Trend Analysis
• Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau
• Experience with handling classified and un-classified application data through multiple networks
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop rapport with multiple internal and external partners
• Demonstrated performance as a self-starter who can manage multiple priorities within a team environment and meet documented schedule commitments
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
