JOB TITLE: Software Engineer LOCATION: Irving, TX DUTIES: Build and drive teams, enterprise partners, and vendors in delivering innovative digital products through the creation of reusable software components. Develop and implement new features for the last mile delivery application. Ensure efficient execution of overall product delivery by prioritizing, planning, and tracking sprint progress. This can include the development of shippable code. Actively engage in product and business discussions with a technical eye for feasibility and adherence to overall roadmaps and architectural strategy. Identify and implement performance improvements to ensure the application operates efficiently at scale. Implement best practices and coding standards to ensure the code quality and to avoid monetary damage. Collaborate with Quality, Product and Cloud Engineering teams to keep digital assets fully functional, secure and up to date with business needs. Perform pair programming, effectively communicate ideas with the team, assist in systems integration, performance testing and product releases. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, Software Analyst, Support Engineer, or in a related/similar position.
