Software Engineer Job Description CoStar Realty Information, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer to design and build distributed API-driven user systems. Produce robust, efficient, and maintainable code using object-oriented programming languages. Drive and maintain software design, development standards, and code reviews. Evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can be leveraged to strengthen CoStar’s technology platform and develop standard practices. Troubleshoot and fix issues in software code. #LI-DNI Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 6 months of experience with architecting, designing and building large-scale distributed, services-oriented systems and web applications in an agile environment. Experience must include at minimum: 6 months of experience with object-oriented language including C#, .NET Framework, JavaScript; 6 months of experience with web frameworks including ASP.NET MVC and AngularJS; 6 months of experience with SQL Server databases and TransactSQL; 6 months of experience with data modeling; and 6 months of experience with performance tuning.
