Software Engineer (2+ yrs in Python & Reactjs)

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Python Developer to join our team focused on automating territory enrichment processes to drive productivity and success. You will collaborate with business leaders to gather requirements, design, and build scalable, production-quality algorithms and scripts. The ideal candidate has a solid background in software development, has worked with business analysis teams, and has contributed to implementing and enhancing back-office solutions.
 

What you’ll do:

Implement, administer, maintain, and support applications and systems critical to operational excellence.

Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain essential algorithms and scripts.

Apply best practices, standard procedures, and techniques to develop and configure applications.

Write and maintain clear documentation for installation and operating procedures.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Participate in technical design discussions, contributing insights and ideas.

Troubleshoot application issues independently or collaboratively.

Transform unstructured raw data into formats suitable for modeling.

Work effectively in a globally distributed Agile/Scrum team.

Learn and maintain a strong understanding of multiple business areas and supporting applications.

What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Applied Statistics, or related field.

2-4 years of development experience with Python.

Professional experience in software development, including the full software development lifecycle (requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance).

Experience writing scripts to automate processes at scale.

Proficiency with Python ORMs (e.g., SQL Alchemy) and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and PySpark.

Experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, and Fast API

Experience developing and building RESTful APIs and web services.

Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how they interact with back-end services

Excellent problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.

Exposure to Gen AI Models and NLP.

Good to Have:

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Exposure to big data, data mining, machine learning, natural language processing, and AI skills.
