Job DescriptionU.S. Bank is seeking a full-time Software Engineer – Prepaid Automation (Multiple openings) in Irving, TX. The Software Engineer – Prepaid Automation (multiple openings) is responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences. This position takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. This role performs core API Automation testing of SOAP & Restful Web Services. Specific duties include: (1) design, develop, test, operate, and maintain in house tools including Liferay, Connect and Card inventory System; (2) design and perform integration testing of legacy mainframe applications like Hogan with modern web and mobile systems; (3) develop automated solutions to test multifaceted authentication flows across all prepaid products and services; (4) plan and implement solutions to test migration of custom applications from on premise to cloud; (5) design, develop, and modify complex web systems using Selenium Automation Testing, Hybrid Automation Frameworks with Java, and Selenium; (6) create optimal and secure design practices for on premise, hybrid cloud applications to ensure PCI DSS compliance; (7) enact all the release policies to include functional, integration and end to end testing; (8) design and implement automated test scripts for Cloud (EKS and EC2) applications; (9) perform comprehensive testing between the heterogenous systems that integrate with vendor products including Cardlytics, Alias wire & APS within house tools; (10) design and develop API testing solutions using Karate and Rest Assured, Postman for SOAP and REST Services; (11) embrace emerging technology opportunities and improve the user experience; (12) design and develop Mobile Automation framework using Appium & Java for Android, IOS Apps using Xcode in Mac and IOS; (13) utilize the following tools and technologies: Java, JavaScript, Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured, API, TestNG, SQL/PLSQL and BDD; (14) implement change control, IT standards, procedures, policy, application testing, system testing, application maintenance, system development life cycle, and application development tools; (15) analyze user requirements and defining functional specifications using Waterfall and Agile (SCRUM)methodologies; (16) develop and test full life-cycle applications in a multi-tier web-based environment with Java, Eclipse, IBM DB2 & AS400; and (17) develop and implement robust framework setup for Automation testing to adhere CI CD principles.
Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science and 5 years (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience performing core API Automation testing of SOAP & Restful Web Services.
Required Skills/Experience:
Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: (1) developing and implementing robust framework setup for Automation testing to adhere CI CD principles; (2) designing and developing API testing solutions using Karate and Rest Assured, Postman for SOAP and REST Services; (3) designing, developing, and modifying complex web systems using Selenium Automation Testing, Hybrid Automation Frameworks with Java, and Selenium; (4) designing and developing Mobile Automation framework using Appium & Java for Android, IOS Apps using Xcode in Mac and IOS; and (5) utilizing the following tools and technologies: Java, JavaScript, Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured, API, TestNG, SQL/PLSQL and BDD. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. This position is with FSV Payment Systems, Inc., a U.S. Bank company.
