Software Engineer [Multiple Positions Available]

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Develop, design, support & maintain Mobile application and framework built using iOS and Kotlin. Serve as a member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions. Provide technical solutions for various new concepts. Conduct production releases and incident/SME support as required. Participate in scrum team stand-ups, code reviews and other ceremonies, partner with product, CTC, clients and stakeholders to form the requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or in a related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, IT Consultant, or in a related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Using iOS and Android development using swift, Objective C and Kotlin; Developing, designing, building, and maintaining iOS and Android applications; Using Swift UI and storyboard for building User interface for iOS and Android mobile apps; Integrating various APIs and using third-party libraries such as Alamofire and RxSwift; Analyzing and optimizing code for performance and scalability; Utilizing iOS/Android architecture and designing patterns such as MVC, MVVM and VIPER; Debugging and problem-solving; Using Test driven development; Utilizing mobile development best practices and designing patterns; Using iOS frameworks like UIKit, CoreData, CoreAnimation, and CoreLocation for creating UI and location related features; Using memory management, multi-threading, and networking; Using Modern Android UI frameworks like Jetpack Compose; Creating Crash reporting and monitoring tools like Crashlytics or New Relic; Using Automated testing frameworks such as XCTest, Quick, Nimble, and tools like TestFlight for beta testing; Participating in setting technical direction and long-term technology strategies; Using Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies; Using Xcode, Android studio and other iOS development tools; Working with Development environments like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket; Using analytics tools like Google Analytics, Firebase or Datadog; Utilizing App Store Connect and Google play console; and Working with XCTest and JUnit for writing the unit testcases.

Full-Time. Salary:  $195,000-$215,000 per year.
