What success looks like in this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineer with a strong background in system software development. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in C++/C#/Java, system-level programming, and modern software development practices. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, contribute to product development, and collaborate with global, cross-functional teams.

Design, develop, and maintain system-level software applications.

Work with C++, C#, Java, and related frameworks to deliver high-quality solutions.

Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize software on Windows environments.

Collaborate with cross-cultural and distributed teams in Agile, SCRUM, or Kanban settings.

Apply strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and OS internals in solving complex problems.

Contribute to the development and improvement of products in file systems, databases, and application management.

Ensure adherence to clean coding practices, TDD, CD/CI, and other modern software engineering methodologies.

Participate in peer reviews, code optimization, and performance tuning.

Flex between individual contributor tasks and team-oriented responsibilities as required.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree highly preferred.

Proven experience in system software development (2+ years).

Strong knowledge of C++ (STL, memory allocation, exceptions, iterators, class mechanics).

Solid experience with C#/Java and systems programming.

Hands-on experience with WPF, MVC, WebAPI, and WCF.

Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in Windows environments.

Good understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, SQL Server/Oracle, OS internals, and Networking.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban), TDD, CI/CD pipelines, and Jira.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience in COM/COM+, and scripting languages (VBScript, JavaScript, JScript, batch scripting).

Background working on products related to file systems, databases, and application management.

Exposure to Unisys Clear Path MCP/OS 2200 systems, LDL/LDL+.

Knowledge of Clean Coding principles and system-level thinking.
