Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for an observability service that identifies incidents affecting databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

Providing leadership, direction, and strategy for a growing team.  Planning, Establishing, and developing the organizational capacity needed to execute on strategy.  Mentoring and developing engineers at every level.  Managing the full lifecycle of your reports.  Successfully leading a local team as part of a larger geographically distributed organization.   Delivering large-scale project on-time with high quality. Because OCI services all maintain their own platforms, you will need to oversee operational support in multiple environments, including production, under load. Working with OCI leadership, senior engineers, program managers, and product managers to develop observability that can help OCI improve ‘Time To Detect’ and ‘Mean Time To Recovery’. Influencing and working with our partners to guide them towards a collective improved observability system.  Providing guidance and constructive feedback to team members and peers. Raising the bar for OCI observability on the service health of the organization, from hardware all the way to customer integration.
