Job Duties: Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. As a manager of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.20612)

 

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a Software Development Manager-related occupation.

Position requires:

Java, Javascript, and HTML; ORM Framework, JPA EclipseLink, or Hibernate and implement best practices and standards including SOA, and asynchronous design and architecture; WebLogic Server or Tomcat; Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) or JavaServer Faces (JSF); Relational databases including Oracle 11G and MySQL; REST or WebServices; EJB 3.x development; Subversion (SVN) versioning system; MVC or 3 Tier architecture; Building highly scalable and multi-threaded server architectures in cloud environments; Agile software development.
