Software Development Manager, Training & Certification, AWS Labs Service

Training & Certification is seeking a Software Development Manager that enjoys working on complex systems, is customer-centric and will drive new innovations in security and fraud mitigation controls for hands on learning environments.

This is a role that combines robust software development of scalable systems, software security, and good understanding on fraud vectors. You understand how people management is a critical part of delivering results. You listen to your people and provide honest but constructive guidance to help them advance their careers. You can grow a team by making wise hiring decisions that complement the strengths of your existing team members.

Key job responsibilities
- Responsible for the outcomes of a team delivering high impact software.
- Manages their team's performance and career development.
- Builds roadmaps and works with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure the right work is built on time.
- Evaluates trade-offs in operational work versus feature work.
- Inspires a positive culture and working environment for their team to deliver at their best.
