About the Role: We're seeking an exceptional Software Development Manager to lead our Worldwide Reference Pricing team. You'll own the systems that compute and display reference prices—the crucial anchor points that help customers understand the value of their purchases. Key job responsibilities
Your Impact:
- Own and evolve the core systems that compute reference prices, including List Price and "Typical" price based on pricing data
- Lead the transformation of reference pricing into the AI-centric shopping era, expanding from "strike-through prices" to communicating price quality across all products
- Build and mentor a team of engineers developing high-scale systems that aggregate and vend pricing data
- Partner with key internal teams (Promotions, UX, etc.) to create a cohesive customer experience that builds trust in Amazon's pricing
