Amazon.com
Are you a Software Development Manager with strong technical leadership, innovative problem-solving skills, and a passion for building products that directly impact millions of selling partners? Come join the Seller Fees Tech organization as we embark on an exciting new charter focused on marketplace expansion.
The Seller Fees Tech organization plays a critical role in the Amazon's marketplace financial ecosystem, responsible for calculating, processing, and managing the complex fee structures that enable sellers to do business across Amazon's global marketplaces. Supporting over 2MM+ active sellers, our systems handle billions of transactions annually, ensuring accurate and transparent fee calculations, incentive distributions, and financial adjustments for selling partners worldwide. We build and maintain the critical financial systems that power seller transactions, influence business decisions, and directly impact Amazon's bottom line through proper fee assessment and collection. Our work is fundamental to overall seller economics - we enable sellers to build sustainable businesses through transparent fee structures, provide financial clarity that informs their pricing strategies and inventory decisions, create incentive mechanisms that reward seller behaviors aligned with customer-centric goals, and ultimately influence the profitability and growth trajectory of millions of businesses worldwide. The systems we build directly impact how sellers operate on Amazon's marketplaces and are crucial to their long-term success and scale.
Our team operates at the intersection of technology and finance, ensuring that Amazon's fee ecosystem remains fair, transparent, and scalable as we expand into new markets. We face unique technical challenges including real-time fee calculation at massive scale, complex business logic implementation across diverse marketplace contexts, and building resilient systems that maintain financial accuracy while processing millions of transactions per hour. Our solutions must be both technically elegant and business-aware, as even small discrepancies can significantly impact seller trust and Amazon's revenue streams.
As an SDM III in our Expansions team, you'll lead initiatives to close critical parity gaps for Fees, Incentives, and Adjustments between established and emerging marketplaces. You'll drive innovation through GenAI adoption, improving team efficiency and delivery capabilities while creating seamless experiences for our selling partners worldwide. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact at scale while working with latest technologies in a highly distributed systems environment.
