Software Development Manager, Amazon Pharmacy Checkout
Are you excited about the opportunity to lead a foundational team solving real-world problems in healthcare? Amazon Pharmacy is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead our customer communications and data management team—a critical part of our mission to make it dramatically easier for customers to find, choose, afford, order, and manage the medications and services they need to stay healthy.

In this role, you'll lead and grow a team of exceptional engineers focused on building two foundational systems: our Centralized Notification System (CNS) and PharmacyAPI (PAPI). You'll drive technical strategy and operational excellence across both systems, partner with product and design teams, and innovate on behalf of customers to transform how healthcare information is managed and communicated across Amazon Health Services (AHS).

Your team will:

* Build seamless, scalable, and secure notification experiences through CNS, ensuring customers receive timely and coherent communications across their healthcare journey
*Develop and enhance PAPI as the central source of truth for pharmacy data, providing reliable, HIPAA-compliant access to critical healthcare information
* Drive architectural decisions that enable efficient data retrieval and communication patterns across AHS
* Partner with multiple teams to establish these systems as the standard primitives for healthcare communications and data management

Join us to lead and grow a team of exceptional engineers who continuously innovate to enhance the Amazon Pharmacy customer experience.
