What you will be doing:
Supports product and technology development within a variety of ways such as, but not limited to, conducting engineering studies, reporting writing, developing prototypes, participating in design reviews and maintaining engineering records.
Self-development via structured program of education and experiences relevant to software development
Participates in cross functional technology projects
Engages in technical development of products and systems
Engages in and contributes to problem solving
Gain experience undertaking supervised work within various parts of a structured development lifecycle process.
Understand and explore sound practical approaches for problem solving, question results.
Support and learn from all areas of the business including production and service.
Good social skills
Careful documentation of results and good written communication
Maintain compliance to all company training modules
Awareness of responsibility to self and others - undertake training before starting new tasks.
Contribution to Risk Assessment activity and ensuring safe practice is followed in laboratories and workshops.
Qualifications Needed:
Working towards Educational Certification in a related Scientific or Engineering discipline is required, or significant experience within a relevant medical device related field.
Developing knowledge and/or experience of software development.
Experience of design and development or proving of new components or self-contained projects.

Compensation: $25 per hour.
Start date: The internship is set to begin on July 7th, and last for 12 weeks.
