TITLE:                                 Software Development Engineering - Advisor

EMPLOYER:                               Fiserv Solutions, LLC

LOCATION:                                 Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US subject to authorization from management)

DUTIES:                                      Conduct hands-on development for modern payment systems including reactive programming. Work on tasks, user stories, and defects for applications written in Java and deployed on PREM and in cloud-based environments. Perform code reviews and support DevOps in deploying code into production.  Conduct requirements gathering and analysis, including analyzing gaps between multiple payment processing ecosystems. Review business and functional requirements including technical specifications. Employ international standards for financial processing including ISO 8583 and ISO 20022 to verify consistency of messages. Create and present complex designs, architecture review and other related documents to a wide range of technical and non-technical audiences.

REQUIREMENTS:                     Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or a related field and 7 years in any job title involving development experience using Java programming language. Prior experience must include: 4 years working with Spring Framework; 3 years working with SQL and Oracle; and 3 years designing APIs. Prior experience must also include 2 years in the following: Development using ISO 8583 and ISO 20022 based protocols; Web development; Developing with communication to HSM tools including Thales and FutureX; Developing microservices; Reactive programming; Developing cloud-based environments; Working with Git; Working in SCRUM agile environments; and Leading a team of developers.
