Join us as a Software Development Engineer – Scientific Applications in our offices in La Défense (92) or Saint-Herblain (44).

 

Join a Dynamic Team: Within the Development Department of the Technical Directorate, you’ll be part of a dedicated team focused on creating and improving scientific software. These tools are critical for ensuring ship and offshore unit classification in compliance with current regulations.

 

In collaboration with industry experts, you will contribute to the development of software solutions that verify the compliance of ship designs while meeting stringent safety and performance requirements.

 

Your main responsibilities:

Participate in the design and development of our calculation software and contribute to its evolution. Play a role in the specifications, architecture decisions, programming, maintenance, and testing phases. Develop features for our scientific software, primarily focusing on applications for ship structure verification.

 

Your strengths for success:

Education and Technical Expertise:

You hold a higher education degree and have initial professional experience in developing Windows applications using Visual Studio, preferably gained at a software company.

You are proficient in C# development and understand the key principles of writing robust, scalable, and maintainable object-oriented code.

You place a high value on the quality of user interfaces and have strong skills in WPF or WinForms.

You have a scientific background, ideally in structural calculations or material resistance, or have acquired familiarity with these disciplines during your career.

Fluency in English: You can communicate confidently with clients, colleagues, and our international network.
