Build tools for configuring Akamai products via Terraform, CLI, and more. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases. As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET I), you will be responsible for: + Writing high-quality test cases, building automation, and executing tests for Terraform Provider and Akamai CLI. + Demonstrating flexibility in learning new languages and utilizing software development skills for tools creation. + Understanding product requirements and ensuring that they are covered as part of the implementation. + Collaborating in an Agile environment and influencing through code reviews, design discussion and product development. **Do what you love** To be successful in this role you will: + Demonstrate experience using programming languages like Go, Python, or comparable options. + Adapt and learn new technologies or programming languages based on project requirements. + Understand REST API testing and Terraform alongside Infrastructure as Code concepts. + Utilize Linux/Unix environments and Git for scripting, development, and system operations. + Have experience of working in an Agile Team when developing products through the SDLC. + Be detail-oriented with good written and verbal communication skills. **Work in a way that works for you** FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
