**Introduction** This job role is being offered by Apptio organisation (under IBM). We mainly focus on cloud cost optimization and which requires us to work on different public cloud platforms. We build various mechanisms and write algorithms in order to come up with different ways to reduce and optimize cloud cost. A lot of times we get to work on very complex problems which always keeps us at our toes. **Your role and responsibilities** Being a part of our team, you will be working on design, development and maintenance of scalable and high-quality software solutions. You will need to collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver features. You will need to troubleshoot, debug and optimize applications to improve performance and reliability. Continuously learn new technologies and contribute to process improvements within the team. You will be working on cloud platforms as per the need of requirements. **Required technical and professional expertise** * 2+ years of experience. * Basic understanding of programming concepts like Object Oriented Programming, DBMS, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing etc * Knows programming in high level languages like java or python * Basic understanding of some of the public cloud platforms IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
