Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for REST APIs, data processing systems, and user interfaces.
Build and extend automation frameworks, test tools, and infrastructure.
Collaborate with development and product teams to clarify requirements and ensure testability.
Drive the adoption of best practices for code quality, testability, and reliability.
Participate in code reviews, defect triage, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
Analyse test results, debug issues, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Continuously improve testing strategies and methodologies to enhance software quality and team performance.
Communicate clearly and professionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
4+ years of experience in test automation or software engineering.
Proficiency in at least one typed, object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, Python).
Experience with test automation frameworks for APIs and UI (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, Playwright).
Experience designing, implementing, and executing tests at multiple levels: unit, integration, end-to-end, and contract.
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, version control tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
Solid understanding of databases and scripting languages.
Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Passion for learning new technologies and continuously improving.
Team player with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in SaaS or financial software domains.
Familiarity with performance, security, or load testing tools.
Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
