We’re looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our team in building innovative websites and web applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about modern web development and has a strong background in software architecture, development, and testing.We're especially interested in developers with deep expertise in JavaScript—with React and/or Next.js experience being a significant advantage.
Designs, programs, develops, tests, and implements interfaces, databases, applications, and web related projects. Analyzes end-user needs and develops software solutions accordingly. Designs or customizes software for clients with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency throughout Sutter Health and its affiliates. Develops \"front-end\" line-of-business and clinical applications and underlying \"back-end\" databases. Lastly, the Developer III participates in matrixed teams and projects with medium to high resource requirements, risk, or complexity to perform skilled technical problem resolution.
Preferred Skills & Experience:

•\tBackend development with Node.js
•\tCloud experience with Microsoft Azure
•\tFamiliarity with Sitecore XM Cloud, Yext, and Vercel

Job Description:
EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Associate's: Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
6 years recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Exchange, PowerPoint, and Word.
Expert knowledge of hypertext markup language (HTML) and cascading style sheets (CSS).
Expert knowledge of C#
Expert knowledge of Java
Expert knowledge of structured query language (SQL).
Set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities and prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.
Analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures to identify patterns, tendencies, and relationships resulting in the formulation of logical and objective conclusions.
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with audiences across all areas and levels within Sutter Health as well as external organizations.
Verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups such as: executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

Pay Range is $55.18 to $82.77 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
