Your Impact

Data Engineer role for the People IT team is critical for us to meet and exceed the expectations of our business partners in HR space. The role supports this by leading and supporting a wide range of data as a service, reporting and analytics along with various applications on technology stack like Oracle, MongoDB, Snowflake, Elastic, Kafka, Mulesoft, both On-prem and in Cloud. A great opportunity to interact directly with our business partners on a day-to-day basis and solving real world problems for them.

Requirement Analysis: Work closely with HR Partners to gather and analyze requirements for reporting needs. Conduct thorough business process analysis to see opportunities for improvement and efficiency.

Documentation: Build detailed and clear documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Communication and Collaboration: Act as a liaison between our partners and engineering team, ensuring clear and effective communication. Collaborate with developers, designers, and quality assurance teams to facilitate the successful delivery of software solutions.

Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to support decision-making processes and ensure data integrity within applications. Identify data-driven insights to enhance application functionality and user experience.

Continuous Improvement: Proactively find opportunities for process improvement and optimization. Stay informed about industry standard methodologies and technological advancements to contribute to the evolution of the application engineering process.

Business Intelligence: Work with various BI solutions in creating compelling data driven stories for our leaders and executives.

As a team member you will be working in the Workday Analytics space with focus on their Prism platform.


Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.5+ years’ experience as a Data Analyst/Engineer in an application engineering or software development environment.Proficient in the use of business analysis tools and methodologies.Experience with managing GCP, AWS based cloud data architectureExperience with Prism Analytics solution along with experience with data modeling and datawarehouse concepts.Experience with Agile and/or Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications :Experience with HR DomainProficiency in Workday ecosystemGCP/AWS Certified professionalExperience with GenAI augmented data analysisUnderstanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).Knowledge of project management tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
